Making hard things clearer — in ethics, tax, and judgment.
I'm an FCPA who believes clarity beats jargon, integrity beats theatrics, and real decisions rarely happen in tidy boxes. I teach professionals how to think clearly when the rules get messy — and let's be honest, they usually do.
Teaching that respects your intelligence
Three areas. One approach: give people tools they can actually use.
Ethics & Integrity Training
I teach professionals how to navigate real-world dilemmas — the ones that don't come with neat answers or perfectly aligned values. Not a checklist. Not a lecture about what you should already know.
Tax Education
Canadian tax rules without the jargon hangover. Practical, accurate, and grounded in what people actually need to know — not what makes the instructor sound impressive.
Keynotes & Workshops
High-impact sessions for organizations that want to strengthen ethical culture and decision-making under pressure. Built around real situations, delivered by someone who's been in the room.
Ethics isn't about perfection. Tax shouldn't need a decoder ring.
I don't believe professionals need more abstract models and fewer real conversations. My work starts from a different place.
Good judgment isn't a personality trait. It's a skill — and like any skill, it develops with the right kind of practice.
Good judgment comes from slowing down, noticing the pressure, and thinking clearly — not memorizing rules.
Meet people where they actually are
Not where the textbook assumes they are. Real professionals face real pressures — I design for that, not for idealized scenarios.
Clarity is a form of respect
If you need jargon to explain something, you probably don't understand it well enough yet. I explain things plainly because the audience deserves that.
Non-judgey, always
The point of ethics training is not to make people feel bad about the situations they find themselves in. It's to help them navigate out.
Curious, not comprehensive
I'd rather teach one thing well than give you a firehose of information you'll forget by Friday. A little well-placed insight goes a long way.
Naturally low-key storyteller. Genuinely curious mind.
I'm an FCPA — a Fellow of the Chartered Professional Accountants (Ontario and Canada) — a long-time educator, and a communication specialist with formal standing in the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers (CAPS).
I've taught thousands of professionals, worked with boards and regulatory bodies, and built courses for people who want clarity without the noise. BZMind — the name means "busy mind" — grew out of that breadth: many topics, taught well, connected where it matters.

Training for your team or a keynote for your event
If your organization wants something more engaging than off-the-shelf PD — content that respects your people's intelligence and reflects how decisions actually happen — let's talk.
Keynote Speaking
Conference sessions, professional association events, and annual meetings where you need someone who can hold a room and leave them thinking.
Custom In-House Training
Workshops and sessions built around your team's specific context — not generic content dropped into your company name.
Custom Course Development
Organizations that need CPD content built for their people — from concept through delivery.
I don't believe ethics is about perfection. I don't believe tax should require a decoder ring. And I definitely don't believe professionals need more abstract models and fewer real conversations.
